Inicio : Plaza de Vera de Erques - final - Caserío de Aripe
Este sendero lo iniciamos en La Plaza de Vera de Erques ,caminamos unos 600 metros por la carretera en dirección a la salida del pueblo y veremos a la derecha las señales del sendero Camino de Montiel,ahí se inicia en unos pocos minutos atravesamos el Barranco de Vicácaro por un amplio camino veremos un horno en buenas condiciones a la derecha ,luego llegamos a unas casas antiguas en mitad del camino tenemos un aljibe y unos lavaderos ,seguimos un pequeño ascenso cruzando varias cañadas siempre con buenas vistas de Montaña Tejina ,del sur de Tenerife y de la Gomera y La Palma en días claros ,luego descendemos al Barranco de Cuéscara entre almendros y tras otro pequeño ascenso llegamos al Barranco de Las Carreras por cuyo cauce subiremos en dirección al Caserío de Las Fuentes .Llegando a una zona de cultivos giramos a la izquierda hasta las primeras casas ,ahora tenemos la montaña a la izquierda y seguimos unos metros por la carretera a la derecha hasta ver las señales a la izquierda , ahí tomamos camino al Jaral veremos una gran era junto al camino sobre la orilla del profundo Barranco de Guaría ,el cual cruzaremos en algo más de unos 800 metros luego en un ascenso hasta la otra orilla comenzamos un pequeño descenso hasta las fincas y casas del Choro ,siendo aquí el momento de decidir que camino tomar junto a las señales , a la izquierda bajamos a Acojeja y podremos seguir hasta el Jaral por el sendero señalizado en mi caso giro a la derecha y por la carretera a unos 600 metros junto a una pequeña finca junto a su alambrada girando a la izquierda iniciamos un camino que en un corto pero intenso descenso nos lleva a cruzar el Barranco del Pozo y en unos 15 minutos estaremos llegando al Caserío del Jaral pasando entre unas casas antiguas con un par de eras y un par de hornos , una vez en el pueblo caminamos junto a las escuelas y luego a la derecha hasta la calle Niágara donde tenemos las señales , tomamos dirección Chirche nos señala algo más de 4 kilómetros ,al terminar la calle nos espera un duro ascenso por un camino ancho entre tuneras y pinos hasta llegar entre algunas huertas de cultivo a una carretera la cual cruzamos y seguimos en duro ascenso hasta llegar a la señal de espacio protegido y en unos 100 metros estaremos junto a las señales tomamos ahora a la izquierda hacia Chirche por un sendero con pequeñas bajadas y subidas pero cómodo de realizar a pesar de lo destrozado por el paso de motos a pesar de estar prohibido su uso en estos caminos , ahora iremos viendo el pueblo de Guía Isora y estaremos llegando al destino llegamos a una carretera en la cual veremos otra señal de espacio protegido ,ahí giramos a la izquierda y bajamos ,en unos metros tenemos un horno y una era junto a la izquierda del camino e iremos llegando a la orilla de Chirche ,aquí seguimos las señales que nos llevan hasta el pueblo o en mi caso hasta Aripe ,dando por finalizada la ruta muy pintoresca y entretenida por los paisajes y la gran cantidad de hornos ,eras y casas tradicionales que podremos ver y ademas en esta época del año con los almendros y los escobones en flor .
Para regresar al punto de partida podemos utilizar el servicio de taxi ( tf. 922 79 54 59 ) entre 15 -20 euros el trayecto hasta Vera de Erques.
