Inicio : en la calle los Molinos junto restaurante Otelo --final --en el mismo lugar
Esta ruta es de las más visitadas de Tenerife , al llegar al pueblo de Adeje pasando por la Iglesia tomamos por el Cañon subiendo por la calle los Molinos hasta el final ( no tiene salida ) , pese a que actualmente la entrada a este sendero esta prohibida ( el Ayuntamiento de Adeje permitirá el uso a grupos guiados en los próximos meses ) es solo por precaución y nadie nos impide el acceso , tendremos que superar una pequeña zona de barandas protectoras.
Como todos los barrancos tiene sus riesgos ,sobre todo posibles desprendimientos ,decir que solo es realmente algo peligroso los últimos 200 metros debido a la estrechez de las paredes ,por lo demás el sendero es fácil de seguir y es una autentica maravilla ,en los primeros 2 kilómetros iremos en una pequeña subida por el lateral del barranco por un ancho sendero en muchas zonas siguiendo un canal que cruzaremos dos veces ,para al fin descender al cauce ,el cual ya no dejaremos ,pasaremos por la Cogedera zona donde se canaliza el pequeño riachuelo que discurre todo el año ,a partir de aquí nos iremos metiendo en una zona "selvática " con algunas dificultades por los troncos de algunos arboles ,pero sin problemas , decir que debido a las recientes y abundantes lluvias algunos pequeños puentes se encuentran desplazados ,pero no es complicado continuar sorteando muchos charcos hasta llegar a la zona de la cascada principal ,que es permanente todo el año y otra que en estos momentos por la lluvias también es muy vistosa .
Ya solo tendremos que desandar nuestros pasos , regresando hasta Adeje que bien merece una visita su casco viejo y tendremos una gran oferta gastronómica en sus muchos restaurantes
