Distancia : 13 kilómetros -- ida y vuelta -- 3'30 horas --señalizado
Inicio : Parador Nacional - final -- en el mismo lugar

Este es el sendero nº 4 ( siete cañadas ) de la red del Parque Nacional ,en este caso solo llegamos a la Cañada la Grieta .En los aparcamientos del Parador veremos las señales de inicio ,tras algo más de 800 metros llegaremos a la pista forestal del Siete Cañadas y no la dejaremos, iremos viendo Roques del Capricho ,justo detrás suyo tendremos a Montaña Guajara e iremos avanzando dejando a la derecha Roque del Pino y más adelante la Cañada La Mareta con el roque "jurado ok " realmente parece que esta realizando dicho símbolo de unión del dedo pulgar e indice ,unos metros más y pasamos dejándo a la derecha al Roque del Agua y justo encima vemos Guajara , continuamos ignorando el cruce con el sendero nº 16 (sanatorio ) y unos metros más adelante veremos el acceso del sendero nº5 (degollada de guajara ) lo ignoramos y nos vamos aproximando a la Cañada del Montón de Trigo una zona con una zona muy llana en algo más de un kilómetro estaremos en la Cañada La Grieta y bajo Roque la Grieta muy fácil de distinguir ,por su forma puntiaguda destacando desde bastante distancia .
En esta época de floración tendremos mucha precaución con las abejas .Veremos bastantes ejemplares de retamas ,codesos y algunos grupos de tajinastes rojos y con suerte algunos muflones que parece le han perdido el miedo a las personas ya que normalmente te huelen a mucha distancia y casi no puedes verlos ,pero en este caso ellos me han asustado , ya que les vi a poco más de veinte metros , sin tiempo de reacción.
Ruta cómoda bien señalizada , incluso en días de mucho sol recomendable llevar abrigo ya que la temperatura puede cambiar mucho ,sobre todo si realizamos la ruta completa ( Parador -Portillo 17 kilómetros ) buenos paisajes a disfrutarla.
