no recomendable realizar la ruta con lluvia o días posteriores ni con viento.
Inicio : primeras antenas --pista Anocheza--final --estación cépsa Barranco de Guaza

Esta es la muy conocida ruta del agua ,ventanas de Guimar ,las mil ventanas ,es una ruta no apta para personas con vértigo y con paso inseguro, esta situada a 1000 metros de altitud . Pero realmente si la realizamos con calma y mucha precaución no es nada complicado de realizar.Para empezar llegamos por la carretera tf 28 al mirador de Don Martín y en unos 200 metros pasado a la derecha veremos una pista (Anocheza que llega a Izaña en vehículos 4x4 ) asfaltada y al final de cemento hasta las primeras antenas ,donde dejamos los coches e iniciamos un pronunciado ascenso hasta pasadas las siguientes antenas ( 1 kilómetro ) en el Lomo de Mena , seguimos unos 200 metros y al llegar a una hilera de abetos tomamos el sendero que tenemos a la derecha ,donde veremos la señal de corona forestal justo ahí cogeremos el canal el cual ya prácticamente no abandonaremos durante el recorrido a los pocos metros veremos un tractor abandonado y ahí tenemos el primero de los 8 túneles que tendremos que atravesar algunos con más o menos ventanas,sin riesgo para respirar y casi caminaremos erguidos ,pero con precaución de golpearnos en las rocas del techo ,tendremos unas vistas del Valle de Guímar , de Aráfo y Santa Cruz de Tenerífe además de Pico del Valle , Caldera de Pedro Gil y el del Barranco de Badajoz ,una zona muy bonita es el momento de llegar a la fuga de los Cuatro Reales una herradura de ventanas casi unas frente a otras después pasaremos los dos últimos y más largos túneles de unos 600 o 700 metros en el ultimo tomamos el de la izquierda ya que el derecho nos lleva al salto de rápel del Barranco de Badajoz,ya a la salida del túnel caminaremos por el canal un 1'5 kilómetro hasta llegar a una carretera que tomaremos y en los dos cruces que tendremos , siempre giramos a la derecha descendiendo hasta llegar a las Coloradas ( donde lo ideal es haber dejado un coche ) pero en nuestro caso bajamos hasta el Barranco de Guaza para terminar junto a la estación cepsa .Lo más recomendable es hacer el ultimo túnel y regresar por las ventanas al punto de partida para evitar un descenso poco vistoso de unos 4 kilómetros por el asfalto ; servicio de Taxi Guimar telefono 922 -51 36 96 ( unos 20 euros hasta las antenas del inicio ) una bonita y amena ruta con algo de vértigo pero realmente solo algunos pasos con algo de riesgo siempre fuera de las ventanas por lo suelto y resbaladizo del terreno

Dies ist das bekannte Wasser Güímar, der tausend Windows-Pfad, eine Route nicht geeignet für Menschen mit Schwindel und unsicheren Schritt liegt auf 1000 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel.
