Este es el sendero nº 2 de la red del Parque Nacional del Teide , compartido con el nº 4 ( siete cañadas ) ,lo ideal sería hacerlo en otras épocas del año. Pero si queremos ver algunos Tajinastes Azules (Echium Auberianum) también conocidos como tajinastes picantes en floración ,por otra parte bastante difícil de encontrar ,este es el momento adecuado a pesar del calor, debemos tener cuidado de no molestar las abejas que abundan por la zona,tendremos unas buenas vistas del Teide ,alto de Guamaso y la Fortaleza .
