Monte de las Mercedes - Anaga --San Cristobal de La Laguna

Distancia : 14'400 kilómetros --solo ida -- 5 horas-- mala señalización después del Batan
Recomendable llevar linterna para el primer túnel (el más largo) y un chubasquero no es aconsejable realizar esta ruta con lluvias ( podría tener agua el canal ) y demasiado viento , ni por personas con vértigo

Inicio : lado izquierdo del restaurante en Cruz del Carmen--PR-TF-11 --final -- Punta del Hidalgo

Para empezar tomamos la carretera TF - 12 en La Laguna dirección Las Mercedes y al llegar tras unos 12 kilómetros a la Cruz del Carmen tendremos unos grandes aparcamientos y una Ermita ,aquí podemos dejar el coche ,si subimos en bus lineas 273-274-275- información http://www.titsa.com/ .
Si miramos de frente al restaurante tomaremos el sendero de la izquierda , tras unos 2000 metros llegaremos a la pista Las Hiedras ,donde tendremos las señales de Bajamar y el Batan ,tomamos la segunda opción y tras caminar unos 2 kilómetros por un bosque de laurisílva llegaremos a otra carretera por la que podríamos llegar al Batan pero caminamos unos 100 metros a la derecha y en el lado izquierdo de la carretera tendremos el sendero que se adentra por la orilla del Barranco del Río fácil de caminar después de unos 3 kilómetros tendremos una subida muy pronunciada y llegaremos a la plaza del Batan de Abajo.Tras algún descanso tendremos que subir por la Ermita en dirección al caserío de Bejia ,una vez pasado el Roque Milano hasta llegar a la carretera asfaltada, podemos hacer los últimos metros del sendero oficial que no esta muy bien señalizado hasta llegar a Punta del Hidalgo o llegar al final de la carretera y bajar a la derecha después de unos 200 metros de bajada al cauce del barranco veremos la señal de peligro y tomamos el canal bien ancho y que nos hace de protección pasamos un túnel de unos 70 metros e iremos pasando por algunas zonas con bastante desnivel pero sin grandes problemas tras unos 2 kilómetros abandonaremos el canal retomando el sendero para ir bajando por una carretera asfaltada y rompe piernas los últimos 2'5 kilómetros y tomando el cruce hacia la izquierda por el camino Homician llegar a la iglesia de Punta del Hidalgo donde tendremos que tomar el bus lineas 50 -105 -224 http://www.titsa.com/ para regresar al punto de partida .
Esta es una ruta muy bonita con unas grandes vistas , el Batan pueblo pintoresco por sus bancales de cultivo ,con montacargas para sacar las cosechas desde el fondo del barranco y una obra increíble ,el canal solo con pensar los medios y las dificultades de hacerlo en algunas décadas pasadas sin los medios de hoy día .

Beginnen wir die Straße TF - 12 in La Laguna Las Mercedes und kommen nach etwa 12 Kilometer die Cruz de el Carmen haben einen großen Parkplatz und eine Kapelle, hier kann das Auto, wenn wir bis 273-274-275 - Informationen-http://www.titsa.com/-Bus-Linien gehen lassen.

Dies ist eine sehr schöne Route mit toller Aussicht, Batan Dorf malerische durch ihre Terrassen-Anbau, mit einem Gabelstapler, die Ernte vom unteren Rand der Schlucht und eine unglaubliche Arbeit, der einzige Kanal, die Medien zu denken und die Schwierigkeiten dabei in einigen Jahrzehnten ohne heutigen Medientag zu entfernen.
