Tenerife senderos......: TENERIFE SENDEROS --- IFONCHE -FUENTE LAS PILAS -ROQUE IMOQUE--IFONCHE

Distancia : 5 kilómetros -- 2 horas -- señalizada en algunas zonas
Inicio: al tomar la carretera del pueblo de Ifonche a unos dos kilómetros a la izquierda tendremos una cripta del Hermano Pedro ,ahí comenzaremos y terminaremos la ruta.

Bonita ruta con algunas cosas interesantes ,al comenzar en la cripta del Hermano Pedro caminaremos unos 300 metros más adelante y giramos en la primera pista (sin asfaltar ) que tendremos a nuestra izquierda (señal restaurante El Refugio ),caminaremos unos 600 metros y al llegar a una casa de tejas solitaria ,justo en su parte trasera tendremos las primeras señales de Fuente las Pilas,ahora bajaremos al cauce de Barranco del Rey ,siguiendo los puntos de pintura en las rocas por una suave bajada ,al llegar a un gran castaño justo ahí ,tendremos el cruce para visitar las fuentes siguiendo por un cómodo sendero bien señalizado por el cauce hasta llegar a unos 250 metros .En mi caso decido seguir a la derecha para visitar la zona de Roque Imoque donde tendremos ,tras una suave subida desde el barranco unas bonitas vistas,de Roque del Conde ,Montaña los Brezos y de la costa sur de la isla .En ese punto dependiendo de nuestras ganas o del tiempo que dispongamos ,podemos continuar hasta el pueblo de Arona tomando el Gr-131 o continuar hasta Vilaflor por dicho sendero oficial .Tras disfrutar de la zona y de una gran Era en perfectas condiciones ,volviendo sobre nuestros pasos visitaremos la Fuente las Pilas ,recientemente recuperada y restaurada por un grupo de vecinos grandes conocedores de la zona dejo enlace https://www.facebook.com/teneriferoquedelconde donde explican como se restauró y nos muestran mucha información de las zonas naturales de Ifonche y Vilaflor ,realmente impresionante el gran trabajo de estas personas.Ya solo nos queda tras disfrutar del paisaje y las fuentes regresar al punto de partida ,Ifonche donde dispondremos de una buena gastronomía en alguno de sus restaurantes.
